Rahul is devastated when he learns about Kiran's engagement and vows to stop it at any cost. He tries to sabotage their relationship by spreading rumors, creating misunderstandings, and even attempting to kill Sunil. He also kidnaps Kiran's brother and blackmails her into meeting him. He confesses his love for her and begs her to marry him, but she rejects him and slaps him. He becomes enraged and stabs her brother, who dies in the hospital.

Kiran and Sunil decide to get married despite the tragedy, but Rahul follows them to their honeymoon destination in Switzerland. He disguises himself as a hotel staff member and tries to kill Sunil again, but fails. He then kidnaps Kiran from the hotel and takes her to an abandoned church, where he ties her up and tortures her. He tells her that he will kill Sunil and then himself, so that they can be together in death.

Sunil tracks down Rahul's location and arrives at the church with the police. He fights with Rahul and manages to free Kiran. Rahul tries to shoot Sunil, but Kiran comes in between and takes the bullet. She survives, but Rahul falls from the roof of the church and dies.

The film ends with Sunil and Kiran embracing each other and thanking God for their safety.

Analysis

Darr is a film that explores the theme of obsession and how it can destroy lives. The film shows how Rahul's obsession with Kiran stems from his childhood trauma of losing his parents in a car accident. He sees Kiran as his only source of happiness and does not care about her feelings or consent. He believes that he loves her more than anyone else and that she belongs to him only. He does not respect her boundaries or choices and resorts to violence and manipulation to get what he wants.

The film also contrasts Rahul's obsession with Sunil's love for Kiran. Sunil is a man who respects Kiran as an individual and supports her dreams. He does not force his will on her or try to control her life. He trusts her and cares for her well-being. He is willing to sacrifice his life for her happiness and safety.

The film also portrays how fear can affect people's lives. The film shows how Kiran lives in constant fear of Rahul's harassment and threats. She is afraid to tell anyone about his stalking or confront him directly. She is afraid to lose her loved ones or hurt them because of him. She is afraid to live freely or enjoy her life because of him.

The film uses various cinematic techniques to create suspense and emotion in the viewers. The film uses close-up shots, low-angle shots, zoom shots, slow-motion shots, split-screen shots, flashbacks, voice-overs, sound effects, music, lighting, colors, costumes, props, dialogue, etc., to convey the mood, atmosphere, character traits, emotions, thoughts, actions, etc., of the scenes.
